| The Pleasant Valley Fire District congratulates Andrew Calamari to the position of Director of 911 Operations, effective Monday, June 29, 2026.
This important senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all operations and supervising all personnel within the 911 Communications Center.
Andrew brings over 25 years of experience in 911 operations, emergency communications, organizational leadership, labor relations, and quality assurance.
Since 2023, he has served as the 911 Operations Supervisor, where he supported the former Director of 911 in managing several programs and initiatives within the 911 Center. Andrew’s expertise has played a significant role in developing procedures and best practices for the countywide supplemental EMS initiative.
Before this, Andrew served as Senior Public Safety Dispatcher beginning in 2005, after joining the department in 1999 as a Public Safety Dispatcher.
