| During emergencies, every second is critical. One of the primary challenges for first responders is locating homes without clearly visible house numbers.
Take a moment to check whether your address is visible from the road, both during the day and at night. Is it easily seen by firefighters, EMS and police officers when responding to your home?
House numbers should be clearly visible from the street. Using reflective numbers is recommended whenever possible. Make sure your numbers are not blocked by trees, shrubs, decorations and replace any faded or damaged numbers.
If emergency responders cannot find your home, they cannot provide assistance.
Ensuring your house number is visible and easy to read helps first responders reach you quickly. Visibility of your address can make a significant difference in an emergency situation. |
