| Members of the Pleasant Valley Fire District recently participated in training at the East Fishkill Training Center, where they conducted live fire training evolutions and practiced critical search and rescue techniques.
Live fire training provides firefighters with invaluable real-world experience in a controlled environment. It allows members to observe fire behavior, improve decision-making under pressure, and build confidence while operating in high-heat, low-visibility conditions. This type of training also reinforces teamwork, communication, and proper use of equipment—ensuring firefighters are better prepared to respond safely and effectively to emergencies in the community.
We extend our sincere thanks to the East Fishkill Fire District for allowing us to use their facility.
