| Our recent training sessions went beyond developing skills—they strengthened the bonds that make the fire service truly effective.
The Pleasant Valley Fire District trained with the Millbrook Fire Department, participating in masked confidence and search and rescue exercises. Firefighters pushed themselves in zero-visibility conditions, where skill, trust, communications and teamwork are essential.
These scenarios help us prepare for real emergencies, where lives depend on quick, coordinated action under the most challenging circumstances.
Training together is not just valuable—it is essential. It builds communication, sharpens coordination, and reinforces the trust needed to operate seamlessly when seconds matter most. When departments train together, we do not respond as separate agencies—we respond as one unified force.
Working alongside the Millbrook Fire Department demonstrates our shared commitment to constant improvement, readiness, and service to our community.
This is how we train. This is how we improve. This is how we stay ready. |
