A State of Emergency has been declared in the Town of Pleasant Valley by Town Supervisor Mary Albrecht due to drought conditions and risk of wildfires.
ALL OUTDOOR BURNING IS PROHIBITED IN THE TOWN OF PLEASANT VALLEY
Including burning of yard waste, household paper products, bonfires, campfires, warming fires, outdoor fireplaces, chimneys and cooking fires are prohibited within the Town of Pleasant Valley.
A grateful thank you to each firefighter, police officer, sheriff, town supervisor and our Pleasant Valley legislators, and their families for their outstanding service in our behalf.
Their sacrifice is profoundly appreciated always.
Their families are our original Pleasant Valley families who have given their all, generation after generation, enduring war, fire emergencies, famine, plague, and tending to our town's business and budget at our town hall.
The obligation to appreciate what they have done for us to enhance our lives in the town of Pleasant Valley is all ours, as PV residents.
