On Saturday, March 23, at approximately 1615 the Pleasant Valley Fire District was dispatched for a one car auto accident on the Taconic State Parkway northbound direction.
First arriving units found one car down an embankment with heavy damage to the passenger side. Crews began extricating the two occupants in heavy rain and muddy conditions.
Despite the challenging conditions crews were able to quickly extricate the occupants and hand them over to awaiting EMS.
Please remember to use caution when driving on wet roads, if they are flooded turn around.
