While many Pleasant Valley residents were at home relaxing with their families on a beautiful fall morning, members of the Pleasant Valley Fire District were training at the Dutchess County Fire Academy.

Under the watchful guidance of Assistant Chiefs Ray Broas and John Cronk, Municipal Training Officer Tom Murphy, ESS Captain Trevor Simoni, ESS Lieutenant Ken Wallace and EMS Captain Zach Ferris, Pleasant Valley firefighters were able to perform hands-on live-fire training.
