PVFD Helps Hurricane Victims

On Sunday, members of the Pleasant Valley Fire District delivered 4 pallets of water to Thomas Boyce Park in Wingdale, in the town of Dover for hurricane relief organized by the Town of Dover.

The Salt Point Company, Pleasant Valley Company, Millbrook Company and Union Vale Fire Company each donated one pallet of water.

The committee in Dover was loading a donated tractor trailer with items and the water which will be delivered to Bristol Motor Speedway and distributed from there for the relief effort in Tennessee and North Carolina.

Thank you to the other fire companies that donated and an even bigger thank you to Dover for setting this up and allowing us to help out.
