This week marks the 50th anniversary of EMS week.

The Pleasant Valley Fire District EMS Division rosters a BLS ambulance Sunday-Thursday 9PM to 5AM and on Friday - Saturday 9PM - 6AM. Every individual that does a duty crews give up their nights of sleep to make sure their community is safe.

To start off EMS week 2024 the EMS Captain donated 3 gift baskets for three members.

The first gift basket goes to EMT BARBARA OAKES for the most duty covered for 2023.

The second and third gift baskets goes to EMT WAYNE SAUER and LT./EMT ANDREW LUDWIG for most calls in 2023

As the EMS Captain of the Pleasant Valley Fire District EMS Division I would like to personally thank every EMT and our drivers who've helped provide care to our community.

Also I would like to congratulate these three individuals for all the hard work they have put into keeping our community safe.
