Congratulations to Firefighter Mark Long on completing his probationary period with the Pleasant Valley Fire District.

Captain Jay Meyer did the traditional helmet shield swap the other day at Station #1.

Mark is new to the Pleasant Valley Fire District, but not new to the fire service. He has previously been a member of the Mahopac and East Fishkill Fire Departments and brings lots of experience and knowledge to Pleasant Valley. His son Jonathan is also a member of the Pleasant Valley Fire District.

Congratulations Mark!

Thank you Capt. Jay Meyer for the Great leadership you bring to the Pleasant Valley Fire District. I am Happy to do what I can as A Member of this great Volunteer Fire Department / Organization. THANK YOU to all our other members that provide emergency services to our Great Community !
